1​ ​Check-in

Boarding procedure (check-in) is carried out at the counter of the airline you are using. Please check the name of your airline or tour operator, etc. and complete this procedure as soon as possible.​ ​
Please confirm the check-in counter from International Flights below.

  • Please note in advance that counters may change on the day.
  • Please contact the airline you are using for information on banned items/items for which there are restrictions in bringing on-board.

2​ ​Security Check

Articles that customers intend to bring on-board will be passed through security checks.​ ​
Please place your coat, cell phone, PC, any precious metals and bags, etc. on trays so they may be passed through the X-ray inspection device before walking through the metal detector gate. If the gate sounds an alarm, your footwear may be checked. Please note that your bags, etc. may be opened and strip-searching may also be performed.

Please note that there are restrictions on bringing liquids into the aircraft.

All potential lethal weapons such as knives and golf clubs, etc. are prohibited from being brought inside the aircraft. Customers carrying knives, etc. should place such objects inside their check-in luggage to be handed over to the airline at check-in, and must not attempt to bring such objects on-board.

Please note that in case dangerous articles such as knives, etc., have been detected, these may be disposed of at the security check location.

3​ ​Customs Inspection

Customs procedure is also necessary when leaving the country.

Customers who are carrying foreign goods or cash equivalent to 1 million yen, etc. should fill out the required items in the prescribed forms and present these to Customs in order to complete the customs procedure.

4​ ​Departure Inspection

Please prepare your passport and complete the departure procedure as soon as possible. It is recommended that Japanese nationals and foreign nationals with IC passports and “short-term stay” permits use the ePassport gates. A departure stamp will not be provided, so if you require a stamp please ask an attendant after passing through the gate. Foreign nationals planning to re-enter Japan with a re-entry permit will also need an embarkation card. (Please remove your passport cover to display this card.)

5​ ​Boarding

After completing the departure procedure, please go to the boarding gate.​ ​
Please confirm your flight information on your boarding pass or on the nearest flight information board.

Some boarding gates (66 to 70) are operated to use international flights and domestic flights depending on the time of day.
