Today at Haneda Airport Terminal 2, there was an issue where flushing water would not flow in a wide range of toilets, but we are now pleased to announce that most of the toilets have now been restored to working order.
We sincerely apologize to our customers for the inconvenience and trouble caused to them over such a long period of time.
Regarding the cause of the problem, it was determined that the water supply pump had stopped due to a fault in the electrical system.
In response to this incident, specialist contractors and airport technical staff will continue to conduct a detailed investigation and promptly recheck the related equipment in an effort to prevent a recurrence.
